SONGCO, Lantapan, Bukidnon  – Representatives of eight Moro tribes and most of the Lumad or non-Islamized tribes in Mindanao yesterday signed a five-point kinship covenant in a gathering here filled with festive remembrance of historical relationships and aspirations for peace and unity in the island.

MALAYBALAY CITY  (Bukidnon News/11 to 12 November) The First Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative and Greenergy Development Corporation, proponents of the proposed 300 mega-watt Pulangi V Hydroelectric power project, were able to obtain in June 2011 an endorsement from the Northern Mindanao Regional Development Council (RDC) to the “Department of Energy and other concerned agencies for appropriate action”, according to documents the proponents submitted to the Bukidnon Sangguniang Panlalawigan recently.
