Public school students to represent Malaybalay in R-10 Math challenge

MALAYBALAY CITY (Bukidnon News /12 March) –  Students from the city’s public schools prevailed over their counterparts from private schools in the Math Teachers’ Association of the Philippines (MTAP) Metrobank Math Challenge division level, and will represent the city in the regional competition on March 16 in Cagayan de Oro City.

Pupils from the Airport Village Elementary School won the elementary level followed by the Malaybalay City Central School in second place and the San Isidro College Grade School in third place.

The Bukidnon State University-Secondary School Laboratory won the high school category, followed by the Bukidnon National High School Main in second place. BNHS-Aglayan Annex placed third.

Letecia Palle, the event’s lead organizer, said the first place winner will represent the division in the regional level oral category and the second placer to represent the written category.
