Polls set for BUSECO Malaybalay district rep

MALAYBALAY CITY (Bukidnon News/22 February)— The Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative (BUSECO) has set election for Malaybalay District representative on February 25, with an estimated 18 thousand voters
coming from the 46 barangays of the city.

Leynard Leyros, spokesperson of BUSECO, told Bukidnon News that two
candidates are vying for board of director in the cooperative : Alexander Maputi and Eulugio “Jun” David. Maputi is a retired police and currently also serves as the Punong Barangay of Barangay 7, while David is a businessman and a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Leyros said the National Electrification Administration (NEA) ordered
BUSECO Malaybalay District to hold elections for the said post which was vacated several months after former board member Jonally Santoninio’s term expired.

The event would be an important juncture in BUSECO’s undertaking and Leyros hopes for a successful outcome with the voters ultimately
selecting the best candidate as a member of board of directors. (Sean Sulugan/Bukidnon News)
