Maramag ambush claims two lives

Malaybalay City (Bukidnon News Dispatch/25 November 2011) – Reports from DXDB, a Catholic-run radio station in Malaybalay has accounted of an ambush in Dologon, Maramag, Bukidnon early on November 25, 2011 where two people were accordingly killed.

The victims, a man and a woman, were aboard a black Honda Civic and ambushed at 12:45 dawn, DXDB reporter Jun Sapanghari said.

Witnesses have said that before the incident took place, there were already two other vehicles waiting in the area near the Central Mindanao University.

Shots, several of them were heard upon the arrival of the victims’ car and later police recovered from the scene at least 50 spent shells of M-16.
A man’s driver’s license were found by investigators, identifying him as Osmund Rey Dalugdog of Matina, Davao City and the woman is yet to be identified. Other items found on the scene were a few notebooks, cash and some documents. (Bukidnon News)
